Well, LAN parties definitelly are better than the "regular"
drink-chat-go to the floor parties. Also, if you are thirsty, you can also
always drink a bit while playing, chat a bunch and maybe insult your LAN enemies
in a very comfy and joyful manner than when having just alcohol ^_^
I do am pretty well with a 2nd handed 10 Gb 3rd Generation IPOD, it is awesome,
whole bunch of songs, whole bunch of space as HDD, it is awesome !
I do suggest to buy ipods !
Common sense can be one of the best aids you can have when buying a computer.
But yes, there are a whole bunch of computer-dumb persons that have no idea of
what they have in their hands.
I do suffer that every day at my work, since i am a tech support person, so i do
know about this.
Normally, a very simple class of good practices to the users are more than
enough to let them know the do's and don't s of a computer.
Personally, i do not use any kind of AV, or Antispy or such programs on my
computer, and i have managed to keep it clean and running smoothly for years
now. It is only a matter of education on computers and that is all, no matter on
what level.
If the users can just have, as you said, a little of common sense and just a
little bit of computer information, they shall be safe.
However, life is not just like that =)
I have used that feature and i like it, this way you can download some stuff
without having the drawback on lower your credits massivelly. As for me, i tend
to download huge amouts of images, that is why i return to minitokyo on regular
basis !

NO, in Mt2 you needed to be level 10 in order to download scans. If I make
downloading credit-free, it will be available even for just-joined
members.

Yeah, I'm considering leaving. I don't understand why I have to use my credits
to submit something to the gallery like a wall. So basically, I will lose
credits and will only gain them back depending on how good my submission is. My
submissions are great so I'm expecting to lose a bit of credit every time a I
submit something? I'll probably lose more than I gain and eventually, I'll get
to 0 credits.
That is true, i am not that much of a submitter but making some coments and
favorites on the submissions. I shall be too close to 0 credits in a snap !
Well it looks pretty interesting, EXCEPT FOR THE CREDITS SYSTEM, i do not think
that a site that actually is made to SHARE images might implement a system in
wich you need to earn creadits to download works you like.

Cmon, the credit system is just making people to think twice, with was not the
case when this started, i mean, the whole Minitokyo.
It is good to have some kind of level depending on how many submissions you
make, thus they are checked by the famous Bootchi or by the MODS (that is part
of their job after all no?)
Having just levels as it was before, with no kind of "economical"
reward is far better than having credits for your submissions and paying for
downloading other peoples work.
My thought is that the site was made to SHARE anime, have some kind of internal
reward (levels at the time) and have a big comunity, without any drawback on
downloading others works.
Neko girs are my perdition, i collect a lot of neko girls, and i would like to
have one of those !!!

Of course not, every change is for good normally, but it does carryes its viscicitudes, such as THE CREDIT SYSTEM, wich i am not very likely to.
